วันที่ 26 กุมภาพันธ์ 2567 เวลา 10.00 น. มหาวิทยาลัยนครพนม จัดพิธีเปิดงานเกษตรลุ่มน้ำโขง ครั้งที่ 25 ประจำปี พ.ศ.2567 "BCG model สู่เกษตรมูลค่าสูง" โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก นายวันชัย  จันทร์พร ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดนครพนม เป็นประธาน และ ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ธวัชชัย ศุภดิษฐ์ รักษาราชการแทนอธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยนครพนม กล่าวต้อนรับ ทั้งนี้มีหัวหน้าส่วนราชการ ภาคเอกชน และประชาชนมาร่วมงานเป็นจำนวนมาก  ณ เวทีกลางคณะเกษตรและเทคโนโลยี มหาวิทยาลัยนครพนม เขตพื้นที่ศรีโคตรบูรณ์

ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ถนอม ทาทอง รองอธิการบดี รักษาราชการแทนคณบดีคณะเกษตรและเทคโนโลยี มหาวิทยาลัยนครพนม กล่าวว่า การจัดงานเกษตรลุ่มน้ำโขง เป็นมหกรรมบริการวิชาการแก่สังคม และการอนุรักษ์ศิลปวัฒนธรรมที่ได้ดำเนินการต่อเนื่องมาเป็นเวลายาวนาน ซึ่งคณะเกษตรและเทคโนโลยี มหาวิทยาลัยนครพนม  จัดร่วมกับหน่วยงานภาครัฐและเอกชน เพื่อเป็นการกระจายโอกาสใน การบริการวิชาการ การบริการวิชาชีพ การอนุรักษ์ศิลปวัฒนธรรมและภูมิปัญญาลุ่มแม่น้ำโขง โดยในปีนี้มีการจัดนิทรรศการภายใต้แนวคิด "BCG model สู่เกษตรมูลค่าสูง" เพื่อเผยแพร่และถ่ายทอดความรู้ทางการเกษตรและเทคโนโลยี งานวิจัย นวัตกรรมการเกษตร ให้แก่เกษตรกรและประชาชนทั่วไป ทั้งพื้นที่จังหวัดนครพนม จังหวัดใกล้เคียงและในอนุภูมิภาคลุ่มแม่น้ำโขง เผยแพร่ผลงานด้านพัฒนาการเกษตรของมหาวิทยาลัยนครพนม หน่วยงานภาครัฐ และเอกชนภายในจังหวัดนครพนม และพื้นที่อนุภูมิภาคลุ่มแม่น้ำโขง ที่สอดคล้องกับนโยบายภาครัฐ รวมถึงส่งเสริมกิจกรรมของนักศึกษาให้มีโอกาสแสดงออกทางด้านวิชาการ วิชาชีพ และทักษะปฏิบัติเพื่อให้เห็นความสำคัญของอาชีพทางด้านการเกษตร

ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ธวัชชัย  ศุภดิษฐ์  รักษาราชการแทนอธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยนครพนม กล่าวว่า การจัดงานเกษตรลุ่มน้ำโขง ครั้งที่ 25 ประจำปี 2567 ภายใต้แนวคิด “BCG Model สู่เกษตรมูลค่าสูง” เป็นการรวมแนวคิดด้านเศรษฐกิจทฤษฎีใหม่ ซึ่งคือ “BCG Model” ที่เป็นการผสานการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจ 3 ด้าน อันได้แก่ เศรษฐกิจชีวภาพ เศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียน และเศรษฐกิจสีเขียว เข้ากับ “เกษตรมูลค่าสูง” ที่เป็นการเพิ่มมูลค่าผลผลิตทางการเกษตรให้มีมูลค่าที่สูงขึ้น ส่งผลไปถึงเกษตรกรให้มีรายได้ที่สูงขึ้น  มีคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดีขึ้นด้วย         

การจัดงานเกษตรลุ่มน้ำโขงครั้งที่ 25  ในครั้งนี้ จึงเป็นภารกิจหนึ่งที่สำคัญของมหาวิทยาลัยนครพนม  ในการบริการวิชาการ เพื่อตอบสนองความต้องการของสังคม และอนุภูมิภาคลุ่มน้ำโขง และเป็นการพัฒนาองค์ความรู้ เทคโนโลยี และสร้างนวัตกรรมที่ตอบสนองความต้องการของชุมชนให้มีศักยภาพในการแข่งขัน ในอนุภูมิภาคลุ่มน้ำโขงในอนาคต การจัดงานเกษตรลุ่มน้ำโขง ได้รับความร่วมมือเป็นอย่างดีจากองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลขามเฒ่า หน่วยงานสังกัดกระทรวงเกษตรและสหกรณ์ จังหวัดนครพนม องค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดนครพนม และหน่วยงานอื่น ๆ ทั้งภาครัฐและเอกชน

 นายวันชัย  จันทร์พร ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดนครพนม กล่าวว่า การจัดงานเกษตรลุ่มน้ำโขง ที่ได้มีการดำเนินการและมีพัฒนาการในการจัดงานมาโดยลำดับ งานนี้ถือว่าเป็นงานที่ยิ่งใหญ่อีกงานหนึ่งของมหาวิทยาลัยนครพนม ที่คณะเกษตรและเทคโนโลยี มหาวิทยาลัยนครพนม รวมถึงหน่วยงานสังกัดกระทรวงเกษตรและสหกรณ์ ส่วนราชการจังหวัดนครพนม  หน่วยงานภาครัฐและภาคเอกชนต่าง ๆ ที่ได้ให้ความร่วมมือกันอย่างพร้อมเพรียง โดยจัดแสดงผลงานทางวิชาการด้านการเกษตรสาขาต่าง ๆ และมีการจัดกิจกรรมที่หลากหลายภายใต้แนวคิด “BCG Model สู่เกษตรมูลค่าสูง”

 การจัดงานเกษตรลุ่มน้ำโขง ยังเป็นโอกาสสำคัญที่ส่งเสริมให้นักวิชาการ นักวิจัย หน่วยงานภาครัฐและเอกชนได้นำผลงานวิจัย องค์ความรู้ใหม่ ๆ ตลอดจนเทคโนโลยีการผลิตใหม่ ๆ ตามกรอบแนวคิดและทิศทางการพัฒนาการเกษตร มาเผยแพร่ให้แก่เกษตรกรและประชาชนทั่วไป ซึ่งช่วยให้เกษตรกร และประชาชนทั่วไปได้นำความรู้ไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการประกอบอาชีพ หรือเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการผลิตทางการเกษตรให้มีมูลค่าสูงขึ้นและยั่งยืนต่อไป

February 26, 2024, 10:00 AM Nakhon Phanom University hosted the opening ceremony for the 25th Mekong River Basin Agricultural Fair for the year B.E. 2024 "BCG Model for High-Value Agriculture" with the honor of Mr. Wanchai Chanporn, Governor of Nakhon Phanom Province, as the presiding officer, and Professor Dr. Thawatchai Supadit, Acting President of Nakhon Phanom University, delivered the welcome address. The event was attended by numerous heads of government agencies, private sector representatives, and members of the public, held at the central stage of the Faculty of Agriculture and Technology, Nakhon Phanom University, Si Khotrabun area.

Assistant Professor Dr. Thanom Thathong, Vise President and Acting Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Technology, Nakhon Phanom University, stated that the Mekong River Basin Agricultural Fair is a long-standing academic service and cultural preservation event. The Faculty of Agriculture and Technology, Nakhon Phanom University, organizes this event in collaboration with government and private sector agencies to provide opportunities for academic and professional services, as well as the preservation of art, culture, and wisdom in the Mekong River Basin. This year's exhibition is held under the concept of "BCG model toward high-value agriculture" to disseminate and transfer agricultural knowledge, technology, and research innovations to farmers and the general public in Nakhon Phanom province, neighboring provinces, and the Mekong River Basin subregion. The exhibition also showcases agricultural development achievements of Nakhon Phanom University, government agencies, and private sector organizations within Nakhon Phanom province and the Mekong River Basin subregion, which are aligned with government policies. Additionally, the event promotes student activities to provide opportunities for academic, professional, and practical skills expression, highlighting the importance of agricultural careers.

Professor Dr. Thawatchai Supadit, Acting President of Nakhon Phanom University, stated that the 25th Mekong River Basin Agricultural Fair in 2024, held under the concept of "BCG Model Toward High-Value Agriculture," combines the concept of the New Economic Theory, which is the "BCG Model," integrating economic development in three areas: bioeconomy, circular economy, and green economy, with "high-value agriculture," which increases the value of agricultural products, leading to higher incomes and improved quality of life for farmers.

Therefore, organizing the 25th Mekong River Basin Agricultural Fair is an important mission for Nakhon Phanom University in providing academic services to meet the needs of society and the Mekong River sub-region. It also aims to develop knowledge, technology, and create innovations that meet the needs of the community, enabling them to be competitive in the Mekong River sub-region in the future. The Mekong River Basin Agricultural Fair has received excellent cooperation from Kham Tao Subdistrict Administrative Organization, agencies under the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives in Nakhon Phanom Province, Nakhon Phanom Provincial Administrative Organization, and other public and private agencies.

Mr. Wanchai Chanporn, Governor of Nakhon Phanom Province, stated that the Mekong River Basin Agricultural Fair, which has been organized and developed over time, is considered another major event for Nakhon Phanom University. This event is a collaborative effort involving the Faculty of Agriculture and Technology at Nakhon Phanom University, as well as various agencies under the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Nakhon Phanom Provincial Government, and public and private sector organizations. The fair showcases academic achievements in various agricultural fields and features a diverse range of activities under the concept of "BCG Model Toward High-Value Agriculture."

The Mekong River Basin Agricultural Fair is also an important opportunity to encourage academics, researchers, government and private sector agencies to present their research findings, new knowledge, and new production technologies within the framework of agricultural development concepts and directions to farmers and the general public. This helps farmers and the general public apply this knowledge to their livelihoods or increase the efficiency of agricultural production for higher and more sustainable value.
